Bill Benter

Chairman and CEO

After a career in high technology entrepreneurial software development, Bill Benter executed his vision of creating a leading outsourced medical transcription organization with the inception of Acusis in 2001. The large network of clients and transcriptionists within Acusis contribute to the continued software and people excellence that puts Acusis in a category of its own, providing medical transcription services with Higher Standards. In addition to his Chairman responsibilities, Mr. Benter’s role as CEO allows him to focus on providing strategic direction with regards to international development activities. This ensures Acusis software and hardware systems deliver world-class performance.

Mr. Benter was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and studied at Case Western Reserve, University of Bristol (England), and the University of Pittsburgh. He is an enthusiastic and long-term Rotary Club member who follows the Rotary model of "Service above Self".



Ananda Sanjeev

Chief Operations Officer

Ananda Sanjeev’s professional career over 25 years has been dedicated to creating game-changing value propositions that his clients, investors, board of directors and teams find exciting and rewarding. He is passionate about the pursuit of business process excellence with sustainable profits being the only acceptable constant and is most joyous when he is translating his ideas either into an acquisition, pioneering new technology or starting an innovative new business division that results in making a significant impact to Acusis’ topline and bottom line each year and also keeps its strategy highly relevant.

Nothing excites him more than growing a new business vertical from scratch organically by winning early new clients and fostering them to a critical mass stage and then shift gears to go diligently hunting for strategic acquisitions to add scale, client base and superior value. Ananda spearheads Acusis’ strategic acquisitions and integrations having completed 7 thus far and some exciting ones in the pipeline planned out.

Ananda is Acusis’ founding employee and leads Acusis’ clinical documentation, medical coding and revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions businesses globally. He takes immense pride in how consistently and creatively a global operations of 1000+ personnel spread across US, India and Philippines commit themselves each day to delivering higher standards to its clients and considers being in a position to serve and lead this global team since Y2001 his greatest professional honor and privilege.

Prior to Acusis, Ananda held positions with respected global automobile companies like Tata Motors and Volvo as a Design engineer. Ananda holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.



Aditya Kumar

Vice President- IT & Customer Care

Aditya Kumar has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Aditya joined Acusis IT Team in 2003 and in 2018 took over global responsibility as Vice President – IT & Customer Care. Mr. Kumar is heading all customer service related functions including managing customer satisfaction and measuring service delivery level in terms of response time, quality and turnaround time. Aditya is managing Acusis global IT security, infrastructure provisioning, planning, installation and operations.

Prior to joining Acusis, Mr. Kumar has worked at Indian Telephone Industries (ITI), Shyam Telecom and DSS Mobile Communications. Aditya's qualifications include MBA (Information Systems), Diploma (Electronics & Communication Engineering), and various Cisco certifications.



Harsha P

Manager – Global Operations

Harsha P has been with Acusis since Y2007 and overall has 2 decades of well-diversified experience in business process management focused on US healthcare industry. Harsha heads a highly integrated global delivery team proudly serving some of our most reputed and respected clinical documentation and medical coding clients.

Harsha has demonstrated a passion for conceiving and designing some of the best in the industry E-learning and professional certification clearance programs and has excelled in his business acumen by marketing and implementing these to resounding success with an enviable track record of results and revenues for Acusis. Harsha’s commitment & attention to detail to Acusis E-learning courses has made them a sought after brand in India and Philippines and trusted for its immaculate & rigorous prep with an astonishing success rate in realizing AHDI & AAPC certification goals on time.

He consistently rejoices in being a pioneer at Acusis and relishes being amongst the first to create new breakthroughs. He continues to make vital and significant contributions both into our legacy clinical documentation business as well new business lines such as Medical coding & Revenue Cycle Management services ensuring their runaway successes in client delight and business profitability.

Prior to Acusis, Harsha worked with companies like HealthScribe and NeXT exhibiting and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement to deliver superior customer experience.

Harsha holds Bachelor’s Degree in Computers and is AHDI-CHDS, AAPC-CPC Certified and SKIL Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.



Muhammad Abdullah B

Manager – Global Operations

Muhammad Abdullah joined Acusis in Y2003 and with steadfast dedication and constant acquisition of newer skills now leads our Global Transcription operations.

He has successfully led many technology deployments for Acusis that started with a pioneering application that automated clinical documentation formatting thus dramatically improving productivity and efficiency. With Abdullah displaying a penchant for pursuing projects that involves leveraging newer technologies for breakthrough efficiencies and business outcomes, he trained his sights next on implementing various Speech Recognition programs and machine learning solutions and he contributed in not only implementing and running the solution deployment of these solutions but in regular frequency came up with deep insights that enhanced newer features and enhanced user friendliness.

He revels dealing with multiple projects of various complexities and enjoys getting into the crux with a 360-degree and end-to-end perspective and strives to engage all stakeholders so that his interpersonal & relationship building skills are best amplified. He has excelled in projects involving many new client implementations and developing strategic captive capacity partners in India and Philippines. His commitment and perseverance have rightly earned him the title of “Marathon Man” for managing long-term missions.

Abdullah’s desire to constantly learn & evolve has accelerated his growth within the organization and in Y2018 saw him foray into Acusis’ Revenue Cycle management business vertical strongly and the “forever student” ethos in him continues to foster and motivate his team in turn to embrace learn and acquire newer and relevant business skills.

Abdullah holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and is also AAPC Certified coder and SKIL-Certified Six Sigma Green Belt .



Freeda Wilson

Manager – Operations

Freeda joined Acusis in Y2003 and after impressing as a stand out quality controller, she smartly and consistently grew through the ranks delivering impressive results in almost all key departments she was assigned to proving her versatility because, Freeda gets bored if there isn’t a roadblock to overcome or a significant problem to solve.

Freeda over much of the last decade had been pivotal in ensuring our Training Department not just trained but really transformed its wards by always providing an impressive “great start” induction for every new employee and every new strategic business partner across India, US and Philippines. Over the last 6 years, the zealous explorer in her saw her foray beyond Training & Transformation into core Operations Management and since then she has always found herself within the core team of all big ticket acquisitions and ensuing integration. She is based out of our Chennai office but her influence and team spans across all of Acusis India Operations ranging from Talent acquisition, Quality and Client Satisfaction.

At Acusis, Freeda is the matchstick that can ignite and sustain a change or a business process improvement with her infectious optimistic enthusiasm and never say never attitude.

Freeda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Post Graduate Degrees in Training and Development and Human Resources Management.
