Acusis
Announces Vice President of Sales Appointment
PITTSBURGH, PA 7 November 2003 Acusis®,
a leading provider of outsourced medical transcription services,
is pleased to announce that, after a thorough and directed
search, Christopher Caruso will be joining the Company on
November 10, 2003 as Vice President of Sales. In this senior
position, he will use extensive experience derived from
his sales and management past to build on the current short
term sales initiatives as well as the long term sales direction
and vision for the Company.
Caruso will be leading and managing a skilled and growing
national sales force and using his previously demonstrated
leadership and reputation for channeling relevant urgency
into the medical transcription and customer environment.
According to Acusis President and CEO, David Iwinski, Jr.,
“With such a wide outsourcing services market opportunity,
it can be a challenge to address every lead possibility,
especially when the Company's excellent reputation precedes
it. Chris' communication style along with his experience
in sales force and channel partnership development will
greatly assist the Company to grow. Acusis places high priority
on continuous expansion of our existing and new customer
relationships.”
Prior to accepting this role at Acusis, Caruso was with
the former Abreon Group (now Sarcom) as Vice President of
Sales and General Manager. As both a member of senior staff
and as a company officer, he was instrumental in revenue-generation
as well as planning strategic direction. Over his expansive
career, he has become proficient in many areas of sales
and company development, including team building, elearning,
project management and keeping channels open between sales,
operations and marketing at all levels, affording him an
innate ability to understand how a company's customers think
and react. Prior to Abreon, he was Regional Vice President
for Computer Associates International and has held similar
positions with both small and large sales groups at Vanstar
/ Inacom Corporation, Entex Information Services and Murata
Business Systems.
Adds Iwinski, “Chris will be able to use his varied
experience to apply both a strategic and a tactical approach
to his role in assessing challenging situations and taking
appropriate actions. Leading our established and growing
sales team, we feel that he will bring added Acusis excellence
to the hospital, clinic and physician practice marketplace.”
