PITTSBURGH… Quality, service,
teamwork and a global presence are just some of the attributes
the Pittsburgh Symphony shares with Acusis,
a premier provider of medical transcription technology
and delivery services.
Committed for the long-term to not only health care but the Pittsburgh
community, Acusis, whose world headquarters is based in Pittsburgh,
has partnered with the Pittsburgh Symphony by pledging a Signature
Circle level gift in the amount of $75,000 per year over a three-year
period.
As the leading cultural organization
and a prime contributor to the quality of life in the region,
combined with its critical time of financial need, Acusis
responded without hesitation to the Pittsburgh Symphony’s
public plea for community support.
David Iwinski, Jr.,
President and CEO of Acusis, remarked, “A relationship
with the Pittsburgh Symphony is a perfect fit. Acusis understands,
just like the Pittsburgh Symphony, the importance of delivering
the highest quality, whether that’s transcribed reports
or a musical performance. We also understand the value
of ensuring that the Pittsburgh Symphony has a stable financial
base, as the Symphony is certainly one of the most globally
respected ambassadors of Pittsburgh. We are proud to provide
this continuing support to the Orchestra.”
Gideon Toeplitz, Pittsburgh
Symphony Executive Vice President and Managing Director,
commented, “We see our missions running on parallel
tracks, with the pursuit of excellence and stellar customer
service a mutual driving force. Acusis is a global company
with a Pittsburgh focus. They have responded to our immediate
need, but their long-term commitment demonstrates their
confidence in the Pittsburgh Symphony and their desire
to see our region prosper. They are a shining example of
the community reaction we need, not just today, but for
tomorrow so generations to come will share this great Orchestra.”
