Step 5

This is a step where post HQCA contract signing and prior to HQCA induction, you would need to acquire the recommended technical infrastructure and Acusis would verify and then carry out the installations at your own home, thus paving the way to proceed with inductions. HQCA candidates are usually given nearly 30+ days duration to arrange for technical infrastructure post contract signing (Step 4).

What kind of technical infrastructure do I need to become an Acusis HQCA?
The ideal configuration needed would be:

How many hours of power backup do I need to possess?
A minimum of 4 hours power backup is mandatory to work as Acusis HQCA given the common power shutdown situation across the country. We recommend usage of inverters for durability and ease of maintenance. Laptops would also be a wise option given inbuilt battery backup and ease of mobility.

What kind of internet connectivity do I need to possess?
As you know, doing topnotch quality control work is nearly impossible without internet research. Acusis processes and working are internet driven and dependent, hence each HQCA having 2 broadband connections from different service providers is mandatory. Secondary internet connection cannot be a dialup service but any other modes of connectivity that offers >256 kbps downloads.

How would Acusis install the software on my PC?
Acusis would verify your compliance on the technical infrastructure and then commence installation of Acusis software and critical reference dictionaries either by visiting your home (if our office is located in your city) or by remotely accessing your PC with your active co-ordination and permission on a designated date and time of your preference adhering to the Acusis roadmap schedule provided.

What about my Stedman’s and other key references?
Acusis will install two categories of software programs on your computer:

Category 1:
Acusis’ proprietary software that provides instant access to dictations, Acusis customized Word Processor, Acusis audio player, feedback mechanism with error tracking, Active Update systems, detailed day-by-day payment schedules, e-learning and e-community portals, proprietary online communication tools, and online support.

Category 2:
The latest editions of Stedman’s online referencing software, electronic drug references, AAMT BOS, and spell checkers.
